Trademark Associate Attorney

Job Overview:

A law firm in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a Trademark Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of trademark experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trademark searching, global trademark strategy development, and domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement. Experience with TTAB proceedings, online and social media enforcement, and UDRP proceedings is a plus. The candidate must also demonstrate superior writing and communication skills. Foreign language skills are highly valued.

Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive trademark searches and analysis.
• Develop and implement global trademark strategies.
• Manage domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement.
• Handle TTAB (Trademark Trial and Appeal Board) proceedings.
• Monitor and enforce trademarks on online platforms and social media.
• Assist with UDRP (Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy) proceedings.
• Draft and review legal documents related to trademark matters.
• Provide legal advice and support to clients on trademark-related issues.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in trademark law.
• Proven experience with trademark searching and strategy development.
• Strong background in domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement.
• Familiarity with TTAB proceedings, online and social media enforcement, and UDRP proceedings.
• Superior writing and communication skills.
• Foreign language skills (highly valued).

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in good standing.
