A law firm is seeking a Trusts and Estates Associate Attorney for their office in Saint Louis, MO.

Job Overview:

The Trusts and Estates Associate Attorney will primarily focus on estate planning and tax matters. The ideal candidate will possess at least 3+ years of relevant experience, hold a Missouri law license, and demonstrate proficiency in income, estate, gift, GST, and other tax laws. Both written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.

Duties:

  • Handle estate planning matters, including drafting revocable/irrevocable trusts, wills, powers of attorneys, etc.
  • Conduct research and analysis of complex state and federal tax law issues related to trusts and estates.
  • Draft premarital agreements and provide related legal counsel.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients on wealth planning techniques.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in estate planning and tax.
  • Missouri law license.
  • Proficiency in income, estate, gift, GST, and other tax laws.
  • Experience in drafting various estate planning documents.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Missouri State Bar.
