A law firm seeks a seasoned securities attorney to join its Investment Funds Group in Phoenix, AZ. This role, designated as a professional-track (non-partnership) position, is intended for an attorney with in-depth experience in structured securities offerings, especially within commercial real estate. The ideal candidate will have expertise in areas such as real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions, providing comprehensive representation for clients, including real estate investment trusts (REITs), public and private companies, and institutional investors.

Duties:

  • Manage and oversee structured securities offerings, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and alignment with client objectives.
  • Represent clients in a wide array of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, restructurings, complex financing arrangements, and property development.
  • Provide strategic legal guidance on matters related to real estate finance and investment structuring.
  • Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and cross-functional teams to drive efficient and successful transaction outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support financial transactions and regulatory compliance efforts.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in structured securities offerings, particularly within the commercial real estate sector.
  • Strong background in real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and best practices for structuring real estate investment transactions.
  • Prior experience with a top law firm, ideally within the AmLaw 100.
  • Active admission to the Arizona State Bar.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Member in good standing with the Arizona State Bar.
