A law firm in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a skilled and experienced Technology and IP Transactional Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in handling life sciences transactions, broader technology, and intellectual property transactions within the context of mergers and acquisitions, as well as other corporate transactions. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for managing strategic commercial agreements, including collaboration, license, outsourcing, and joint venture agreements.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to life sciences, technology, and intellectual property transactions.
  • Draft and negotiate agreements for mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, and strategic commercial deals.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on complex legal matters in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure legal compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Assisted in due diligence processes and contributed to the evaluation of legal aspects of potential transactions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and legal developments impacting technology and intellectual property transactions.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • An active member of the California State Bar in good standing.
  • 3-6 years of experience in technology and intellectual property transactions.
  • Demonstrated experience in life sciences transactions is highly preferred.
  • Outstanding credentials and qualifications related to the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the California State Bar.
