A law firm seeks a talented Capital Markets Associate with 2–5 years of experience to join its dynamic team in San Francisco, CA. The role focuses on advising clients on innovative capital-raising strategies, including equity and debt transactions. Duties

  • Advise clients on public equity and debt capital markets transactions.
  • Work with technology and life sciences companies to support their capital-raising strategies from IPO to public company operations.
  • Represent investment banks, venture capital funds, and institutional investors in various capital markets activities.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate key transaction documents.
  • Guide on regulatory and compliance issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver superior client service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with a leading law firm, focusing on capital markets, equity, and/or debt transactions.
  • Strong commitment to delivering excellent service to clients.
  • Proven ability to manage complex transactions efficiently.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active Bar membership in the state where the candidate will practice.

Skills

  • In-depth understanding of public securities offerings, including equity and debt.
  • Excellent legal drafting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
