Duties

• Represent clients in insurance defense cases, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and preparing motions.
• Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other legal professionals to develop case strategies.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials to advocate effectively for clients.
• Maintain open and effective communication with clients, keeping them informed about case progress and legal options.
• Analyze legal and factual issues to craft strong defenses and recommendations.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Admission to the Louisiana State Bar (active license required).
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Louisiana.
