Duties:

• Assist attorneys in patent prosecution, including drafting and filing patent applications.
• Conduct patentability searches and analyze prior art.
• Manage client interactions and assist with client counseling on intellectual property matters.
• Collaborate with attorneys to prepare responses to office actions from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
• Support in patent portfolio management for diverse clients across various industries.
• Stay updated on intellectual property laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Assist in conducting technical research to support patent applications.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of experience in patent prosecution.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. patent law and familiarity with USPTO procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• An undergraduate or advanced degree in mechanical engineering is required.
