Job Overview: A reputable law firm is seeking an experienced mid-level associate to join the Business Group. This role involves supporting a range of business clients across multiple industries, focusing primarily on commercial contracts within the consumer goods and consumer products sectors. Location:

Duties:

  • Draft, negotiate, and review various commercial contracts, including:
    • Manufacturing Agreements
    • Distribution Agreements
    • Sales Broker Agreements
    • Raw Material Supply Agreements
    • Packaging Supply Agreements
    • Equipment Leases
    • Equipment Purchase Agreements
    • Product Purchase and Sale/Supply Agreements
  • Collaborate effectively with attorneys across multiple firm offices
  • Engage in client consultations, offering knowledgeable support and ensuring high standards of client service
  • Participate in pro bono and public service matters as encouraged
  • Contribute to firm initiatives promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in commercial contracts law
  • Strong background in consumer goods or consumer products industry contracts
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail
  • High level of professionalism and responsiveness in client interactions
  • Proven collaborative skills within a diverse team setting

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in one of the specified locations

Skills:

  • Excellent analytical, writing, and communication abilities
  • Strong client-service orientation and effective interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
