Duties:

  • Handle complex commercial litigation cases from inception to resolution.
  • Draft discovery documents, substantive motions, and other pleadings in Federal and State courts.
  • Conduct legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
  • Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Provide guidance and strategic counsel to clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, including partners, associates, and paralegals.
  • Manage and organize case files and documentation effectively.
  • Ensure timely filing and compliance with all court requirements.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in complex commercial litigation.
  • Proven experience in drafting discovery documents and substantive motions.
  • Prior experience in handling large cases or working with a large law firm is preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases and meet deadlines.
  • Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar is required.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the State of Florida.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of complex commercial litigation processes.
  • Strong legal research skills and proficiency with legal research tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to draft and argue motions in both Federal and State courts.
