Job Overview: A prestigious law firm based in Greensboro, NC, is seeking a dedicated Product Liability and Mass Torts Associate Attorney with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset to join their litigation team. This role offers the opportunity to handle complex litigation matters, including individual, multidistrict, mass tort, and class action lawsuits, alongside some of the leading attorneys in the field.

Duties:

  • Manage and handle complex litigation cases independently and as part of a team.
  • Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and trials across NC.
  • Engage in discovery, including taking and defending depositions.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop effective case strategies and trial preparation plans.
  • Consult with expert witnesses and investigate facts to support case building.
  • Handle a diverse caseload with autonomy and flexibility.

Requirements:

  • Active NC Bar licensure.
  • 3-6 years of litigation experience with a strong focus on all phases of litigation.
  • Proven experience in court and deposition settings.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a trial team.
  • Strong research, drafting, and analytical skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the North Carolina State Bar (required).
