Responsibilities

• Prepare and file trademark applications, handle opposition proceedings, and manage portfolios of intellectual property assets.
• Negotiate and draft licensing agreements, settlement agreements, and other IP-related contracts.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice on complex intellectual property issues.
• Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses to build and present cases.
• Stay current with developments in intellectual property law and industry trends.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New Jersey Bar and in good standing.
• 3-5 years of experience in trademark and copyright matters, including litigation.
• Strong academic record and demonstrated expertise in intellectual property law.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Technical or scientific background preferred.
• Experience working in a large law firm preferred.
