Mid- to Senior-level Litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Attorney to handle complex legal disputes from inception through resolution. This role is ideal for a seasoned litigator with a proven track record of success in discovery, motions, and trial preparation. Duties

• Oversee and manage all phases of litigation, including case assessment, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Draft, review, and argue motions and other legal documents.
• Conduct depositions, manage evidence, and work with expert witnesses.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop and execute legal strategies.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and staff.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of litigation experience, including significant courtroom exposure.
• Expertise in managing discovery processes, including document production, interrogatories, and depositions.
• Strong research and analytical abilities to develop compelling legal arguments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex legal concepts.
• A track record of successful case outcomes and client satisfaction.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Strong academic background demonstrating exceptional legal knowledge and capabilities.

Certifications

• Admission to practice law in the state of New York.
• Additional bar admissions are a plus but not required.
