A prominent, diversity-focused law firm is seeking a skilled Employment Litigation Associate Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join its growing team. This role offers a hybrid work model and the opportunity to represent employers in non-union employment litigation matters across state and federal courts. The ideal candidate will be licensed in at least one of the following states: PA, NJ, NY, or FL, and possess a strong litigation background, entrepreneurial spirit, and collaborative mindset. Represent employer clients in non-union employment litigation matters
Handle cases from inception through trial in state and federal courts
Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs
Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances
Develop litigation strategies and provide legal counsel to clients
Collaborate with team members on case development and legal strategy
Maintain accurate case files and manage deadlines effectively
Participate in business development and client relationship management
Minimum of 5 years’ law firm experience in employment litigation for employers
Proven success managing employment-related cases independently
Experience with courtroom litigation in state and federal courts
Strong legal research, writing, and procedural skills
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and handle multiple priorities
Entrepreneurial mindset and strong organizational skills
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active Bar License in at least one of the following states (required):
Pennsylvania (PA)
New Jersey (NJ)
New York (NY)
Florida (FL)
Comprehensive litigation and trial preparation
Advanced legal writing and research capabilities
Strategic thinking and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal and client communication abilities
Time management and ability to meet billable hour targets
Familiarity with employment law trends and compliance
