Duties

  • Represent employer clients in non-union employment litigation matters

  • Handle cases from inception through trial in state and federal courts

  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs

  • Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances

  • Develop litigation strategies and provide legal counsel to clients

  • Collaborate with team members on case development and legal strategy

  • Maintain accurate case files and manage deadlines effectively

  • Participate in business development and client relationship management

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ law firm experience in employment litigation for employers

  • Proven success managing employment-related cases independently

  • Experience with courtroom litigation in state and federal courts

  • Strong legal research, writing, and procedural skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and handle multiple priorities

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and strong organizational skills

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active Bar License in at least one of the following states (required):
