San Diego office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a subrogation and recovery attorney with 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in product defect claims, property damage claims, or construction issues. The candidate will represent corporate clients in Federal and State Courts, handling civil actions related to property damage. Collaborate with a variety of forensic experts to investigate and evaluate the legal and financial viability of different causes of action in both single and multi-party litigation. Draft pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, motions, and briefs. Prepare for, attend, and present at court hearings. Take and defend depositions. Maintain effective communication with clients and opposing counsel. Experience working with various forensic experts (e.g., fire origin and cause, mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, chemical, material, human factors, accounting, and standard of care) is highly desired.

The candidate must have a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Excellent academic credentials demonstrating strong legal aptitude are required. Should have proficiency in drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and presenting oral arguments. Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed. Should have the willingness to travel as needed.

This national firm has had a small office in San Diego for about 15 years. While the firm as a whole considers itself full service, the attorneys in this office primarily handle litigation matters throughout California, appearing on behalf of corporate and insurance clients in both state and federal matters throughout a number of Southwestern states including Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico. While this is certainly not a top tier firm, it is well respected in its class. If you went to a local San Diego law school, this would be a good firm to consider, as it has small congenial atmosphere, good work, and fair pay.

Your information will not be forwarded to any employers at this time. A recruiter will contact you with more information once our internal review of your resume is completed.
