Insurance Recovery and Counseling Associate Attorney

A law firm in Kansas City, MO, is seeking a talented Insurance Recovery and Counseling Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably with a focus on complex insurance coverage litigation and counseling matters from the policyholder's perspective. This role involves managing insurance recovery cases, providing expert legal advice, and representing clients in various legal proceedings.

Duties:

• Handle complex insurance coverage litigation and counseling matters on behalf of policyholders.
• Provide legal guidance on insurance recovery strategies, policy interpretations, and related issues.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
• Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to support case strategies and client counsel.
• Collaborate with clients, experts, and colleagues to develop and implement effective legal solutions.
• Stay current with legal developments and industry trends related to insurance recovery.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of litigation experience, with a focus on insurance coverage and recovery matters.
• Preferred experience with complex insurance coverage litigation and counseling from the policyholder's perspective.
• Strong understanding of insurance policies and relevant legal issues.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Missouri.
