Job Overview: A rapidly growing law firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supervising Immigration Attorney. The role requires significant experience in immigration law and management, with a focus on overseeing a team of attorneys and paralegals. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, team-oriented, strategic thinker, and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth practice. The position offers a unique opportunity to manage a dynamic caseload while providing leadership within the firm.

Location:

  • Orlando, FL

Duties:

  • Manage and oversee multiple associate attorneys, attorney teams, cases, paralegals, and administrative staff

  • Train and supervise new attorneys and staff, ensuring professional development

  • Prepare presentations and materials for continuing attorney training

  • Assist leadership with complex cases requiring in-depth legal analysis and strategy

  • Regularly check-in with the team and provide leadership with status reports

  • Assist in case audits, reviews, refunds, and evaluations

  • Provide reports and recommendations for long-term strategic planning

  • Track and manage team deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks

  • Meet with potential new clients and help coordinate legal strategy

  • Review and prepare court documents, motions, briefs, and memoranda

  • Conduct legal research to stay updated on legislation and judicial case law

  • Market the law firm's services and participate in business development activities

  • Work one Saturday a month with potential bonuses for new clients signed

  • Cross-sell services within the firm’s other practice areas

  • Handle court hearings and trials related to immigration law

  • Provide expertise in Family Petitions, Asylum, SIJIS, U-Visas, Waivers, and other immigration matters

Requirements:

  • J.D. from an ABA Accredited Law School

  • Active Bar License in Good Standing from any US State or Puerto Rico

  • Authorized to work in the US

  • Fluent in Spanish

  • Minimum of 5 years of immigration law experience or significant experience with transferable skills

  • Strong organizational, management, and project coordination skills

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active Bar License in good standing (any US State or Puerto Rico)

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and management abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • In-depth knowledge of immigration law and processes

  • Legal research and drafting skills

  • Ability to handle high-volume caseloads and meet deadlines

  • Fluent in Spanish (required)

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
