Mid-level Class Action Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Miami, FL, seeks a Mid-level Class Action Associate Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have significant litigation experience, particularly in class action defense and complex commercial litigation. This position requires strong analytical and writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a multi-matter docket effectively. Duties:

• Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and promptly reply to correspondence.
• Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product.
• Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
• Foster positive work relationships.
• Comply with all firm policies and practices.
• Engage in physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
• Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• JD degree.
• Admission to the FL Bar is required.
• 4 years of litigation experience, preferably gained while practicing at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Experience managing a multi-matter docket.
• Experience with class action defense.
• Experience with complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation.
• Previous federal clerkship is preferred.
