Duties

  • Conduct in-depth legal research on complex personal injury cases, including statutory, case law, and regulatory analysis.
  • Draft motions, briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents to support litigation strategy.
  • Assist in preparing for depositions, including developing strategies, outlining key points, and reviewing evidence.
  • Participate in and potentially conduct depositions, under the guidance of senior attorneys.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to manage all phases of litigation for large, high-profile personal injury cases.
  • Maintain organized case files and ensure accurate documentation of legal research, briefs, and correspondence.
  • Attend team meetings, client consultations, and case strategy discussions.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
  • Proven experience in legal research and drafting complex legal documents.
  • Experience in preparing for and conducting depositions.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience as a briefing attorney is a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas (required).
