A law firm seeks a motivated and skilled Personal Injury Attorney to join its legal team in Chicago. Duties

  • Independently manage a caseload of personal injury cases, from intake to settlement or trial.
  • Advocate for clients by preparing and filing legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct legal research, analyze case details, and develop compelling strategies for each case.
  • Collaborate with paralegals, support staff, and other attorneys to build strong cases and maintain efficient case management.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to update them on case progress, provide legal guidance, and answer inquiries.
  • Represent clients in settlement negotiations and in court when necessary.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice in the state of Illinois and in good standing with the Illinois Bar.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in personal injury law (preferred).
  • Strong analytical, research, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Compassionate and committed to advocating for clients who have experienced harm or injury.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the Illinois State Bar Association.
