Duties

• Handle mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and private equity (PE) transactions
• Provide legal counsel on corporate governance and transactional matters
• Draft and negotiate complex agreements and legal documents
• Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for M&A deals
• Work closely with clients to develop strategic solutions
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and multidisciplinary teams to execute transactions

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in M&A and private equity transactions at a law firm
• Significant responsibility as a Junior Associate on legal matters
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Membership in the New York State Bar (required)
