Litigation Partner

A law firm seeks a Litigation Partner with a minimum of 10 years of defense litigation experience, particularly in Labor & Employment, Professional Liability, and/or General Liability. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing national firm. While portable business is not required, the firm offers excellent infrastructure, support, and a collegial culture that fosters the integration of lateral attorneys. The position offers hybrid or remote work flexibility, with location options available.

Duties:

• Lead and manage defense litigation cases in Labor & Employment, Professional Liability, and General Liability.
• Oversee and guide legal teams, providing mentorship and strategic direction.
• Conduct legal research, prepare pleadings, and manage all aspects of case management from inception through trial or settlement.
• Attend and represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm to ensure high-quality client service and case outcomes.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, providing counsel on litigation matters.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in defense litigation, with expertise in General Liability, Professional Liability, and/or Employment Practices Liability defense.
• Proven leadership and case management skills in handling complex litigation.
• Admission to the Florida State Bar (required).

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Florida Bar License (required).

• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage a litigation caseload and collaborate with other legal professionals.
• Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
