Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and support on a range of education law matters for public agencies.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, policies, and regulations.
• Represent clients in meetings, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and prepare written briefs and memoranda.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to devise legal strategies.
• Assist in preparing and presenting cases in a variety of legal forums.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting public education.

Requirements:

• 0-5 years of experience in law, with a focus on public agency or education law preferred.
• Admitted to the California State Bar and in good standing.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
• The high degree of professionalism and attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar.
