A law firm is seeking a Mid-to-Senior-Level Labor and Employment Associate Attorney for their San Francisco office. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

 

Job Overview:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in labor and employment matters.
  • Serve as the primary contact for litigation matters, overseeing junior associates and staff.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously with strong project management skills.
  • Utilize excellent writing and analytical skills for effective legal representation.

 

Duties:

  • Handle labor and employment litigation cases, including single plaintiff cases and wage and hour class actions.
  • Serve as the point person on litigation matters, supervising junior associates and staff.
  • Provide employment advice and counseling to clients as needed.
  • Conduct depositions and represent clients in court proceedings.

 

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in employment litigation.
  • Familiarity with Federal Court Rules and E-Discovery.
  • Deposition and/or courtroom experience.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor degree from a nationally recognized law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent writing and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in handling multiple cases.
