Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal representation to clients in personal injury cases, advocating for their rights and seeking fair compensation.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of personal injury cases, reviewing medical records, police reports, and other relevant documents.
  • Interview clients to gather necessary information and assess the strength of their claims.
  • Offer legal advice and guidance to clients, explaining their rights and legal options.
  • Perform legal research to support case strategies and stay informed about relevant laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
  • Represent clients in negotiations with insurance companies, opposing counsel, and other involved parties.
  • Prepare and present persuasive arguments in court, including trials, hearings, and settlement conferences.
  • Collaborate with experts such as medical professionals, accident reconstruction specialists, and economists to build strong cases.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files, including all relevant documents, correspondence, and evidence.
  • Keep clients informed about case progress and respond promptly to their inquiries.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, aiming for maximum compensation.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury law.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Georgia State Bar and in good standing.
  • In-depth knowledge of personal injury laws, regulations, and legal procedures in Georgia.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex legal issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with clients, staff, and other parties.
  • Outstanding negotiation and advocacy abilities.
