Job Overview
A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join its litigation team in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience in personal injury litigation and arbitration, with a strong ability to manage cases independently. Duties

• Review and assess potential personal injury cases.
• Independently manage case loads, ensuring timely progression and attention to detail.
• Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, discovery requests, and pleadings.
• Conduct depositions, attend hearings, and participate in trials as needed.
• Work collaboratively with senior attorneys and clients, providing clear and effective communication.
• Handle all aspects of case litigation from inception to resolution, including arbitration and settlement negotiations.
• Demonstrate strong storytelling skills, presenting cases clearly and persuasively.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in litigation, preferably in personal injury cases.
• Strong knowledge of both state and federal court rules and procedures.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and writing skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Strategic thinking with a problem-solving mindset.
• A sense of humor and professionalism in high-pressure situations.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the State Bar of Colorado.
