Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in court, during depositions, and at mediations or arbitrations.
  • Manage a caseload effectively, ensuring timely and accurate case handling.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates and legal advice.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of case strategies.
  • Prepare and file legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and briefs.
  • Participate in client meetings and assist in developing client relationships.
  • Stay current with legal developments and changes in law pertinent to cases handled.
  • Collaborate with team members to support firm-wide initiatives and projects.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active member of the Bar or recent Bar Exam taker.
  • Previous experience in a legal setting is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong understanding of legal principles and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal research and writing.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the State Bar (or recent Bar Exam taker).
