A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Transactional Tax Associate Attorney in Dallas, TX:

Job Overview:

The Mid-Level Transactional Tax Associate Attorney will provide legal counsel on transactional tax matters, including fund formation, Section 892 investors, real estate, income tax treaties, and cross-border transactions. The role requires collaboration with clients, lawyers, and other professionals to deliver timely and accurate work products.

Job Duties:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables, answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence promptly.
  • Meet deadlines and perform duties as required by engaging in physical and sedentary activities, including computer work, digital/virtual conference calls, and meetings.
  • Comply with firm policies and practices to maintain positive work relationships.
  • Perform additional duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of transactional tax experience dealing with fund formation, Section 892 investors, real estate, income tax treaties, and cross-border transactions.
  • Direct and applicable experience with an AmLaw 100 law firm or SEC.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated good business judgment and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently, with persuasive communication and management skills.
  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar Admission in any U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Admitted to practice law in Texas.

Education & Certifications:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
