A law firm seeks a passionate, dependable, and charismatic Associate Attorney to join its dynamic legal team in Los Angeles, CA. The firm is dedicated to providing exceptional legal services, proudly representing clients at various stages of immigration, including all aspects of removal proceedings.

Duties

  • Represent clients in immigration matters before USCIS, ICE, and EOIR
  • Handle USCIS Asylum Petitions and Family Based Petitions
  • Conduct Adjustment of Status (AOS) interviews
  • Assist clients with work permit applications
  • Prepare and manage legal documents, filings, and case presentations
  • Conduct master and individual appearances for immigration hearings
  • Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration law and regulations
  • Provide exceptional client service and support throughout the legal process

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Admission to practice law in California
  • 1-6 years of proven experience in immigration law, specifically with USCIS, ICE, and EOIR proceedings
  • Experience with handling master and individual appearances
  • Strong advocacy and negotiation skills

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of California
