Duties:

  • Manage a caseload focused on petitioners' workers' compensation claims
  • Participate in plaintiff's personal injury, criminal, and Social Security Disability cases, if interested
  • Represent clients in workers' compensation hearings and negotiations
  • Prepare and file necessary legal documents, including petitions and motions
  • Conduct legal research, client interviews, and case evaluations
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure efficient case management
  • Provide legal counsel and support to clients throughout the litigation process

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in New Jersey workers' compensation law
  • Strong knowledge of workers' compensation procedures and regulations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines independently
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required
  • A book of business is an advantage but not necessary

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of New Jersey and in good standing
