Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel and support on tax-related matters to nonprofit clients.

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and implement legal strategies tailored to clients' needs.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal developments in the nonprofit sector.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on legal topics related to nonprofit organizations.
  • Manage a caseload of tax and transactional matters from inception to resolution.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and service.

Required Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the California State Bar.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax law, transactional law, or similar professional experience.
  • Proven interest and experience in the nonprofit sector.
