A law firm in Cincinnati is seeking a Trademark Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience in various aspects of trademark law, including clearance, prosecution, counseling, licensing, and enforcement. The ideal candidate should demonstrate expertise in domestic and global portfolio management.

 

Job Duties:

  • Conduct trademark clearance searches and provide opinions on trademark availability.
  • Handle trademark prosecution, including drafting and filing trademark applications.
  • Provide counseling to clients on trademark matters, including trademark selection, registration, and enforcement strategies.
  • Negotiate and draft trademark licensing agreements.
  • Assist with trademark enforcement actions, including cease and desist letters, oppositions, and cancellations.
  • Manage trademark portfolios for domestic and international clients.
  • Stay updated on changes in trademark laws and regulations.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar in the jurisdiction of practice.
  • 4-6 years of experience in trademark law.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
