Job Overview:
A law firm based in the Florida Keys is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join its dynamic litigation group. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate with 2-6 years of litigation experience and a strong work ethic. Location:

Duties:

  • Provide legal counseling and services to clients in civil litigation matters.
  • Represent clients in State Circuit/County Court and Federal Court.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Prepare for and attend court hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Negotiate settlements and engage in alternative dispute resolution processes.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, keeping them informed about case developments and legal options.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to provide comprehensive legal services.

Requirements:

  • 2-6 years of litigation experience, with a focus on civil litigation.
  • Licensed to practice in Florida.
  • Strong research, writing, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to providing high-quality legal services.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred).
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Florida Bar membership in good standing.
