Duties:

  • Handle corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, venture capital, private equity, and joint ventures.
  • Take a senior role in leading transactions, drafting primary agreements, and negotiating with opposing counsel.
  • Supervise and mentor junior associates in corporate transactional matters.
  • Provide legal advice to public and private companies on securities law matters, including capital-raising transactions and compliance (preferred but not required).
  • Work closely with clients and senior partners on strategic and creative legal solutions.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience working on mergers, acquisitions, venture capital, private equity, and joint ventures.
  • Demonstrated ability to take leadership roles in managing transactions and negotiations.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and client management skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills:

  • Expertise in corporate law, particularly in M&A, venture capital, and private equity.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to supervise and mentor junior team members.
  • Knowledge of securities law and capital-raising transactions is a plus.
