Job Overview:

This position involves managing a caseload of insurance defense cases, including auto liability, third-party liability, UM/UIM, bad faith, and first-party matters. Duties:

  • Manage and handle insurance defense caseload, including auto liability, third-party liability, UM/UIM, bad faith, and first-party matters
  • Represent clients in various litigation proceedings, including trials and hearings
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys for guidance, mentoring, and case strategy
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other legal professionals
  • Opportunity for first-chair trial experience, depending on qualifications
  • Participate in case analysis and provide legal advice to clients
  • Ensure timely case progress and adherence to legal deadlines

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense
  • Experience preferred in the handling of auto and third-party liability work, UM/UIM, bad faith, and first-party matters.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
