Job Overview:

A prominent law firm based in King of Prussia, PA, is looking to expand its legal team with a skilled and driven associate attorney. This position involves managing a caseload of insurance defense cases, including auto liability, third-party liability, UM/UIM, bad faith, and first-party matters. Duties:

• Manage and handle insurance defense caseload, including auto liability, third-party liability, UM/UIM, bad faith, and first-party matters
• Represent clients in various litigation proceedings, including trials and hearings
• Collaborate with senior attorneys for guidance, mentoring, and case strategy
• Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other legal professionals
• Opportunity for first-chair trial experience, depending on qualifications
• Participate in case analysis and provide legal advice to clients
• Ensure timely case progress and adherence to legal deadlines

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense
• Experience preferred in the handling of auto and third-party liability work, UM/UIM, bad faith, and first-party matters.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Solid understanding of litigation processes and procedures
• Professional demeanor and ability to handle complex legal matters
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania

Skills:

• Litigation experience in insurance defense
• Proficient in legal research, writing, and document preparation
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
• Experience with case management and client communication
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet deadlines
