Duties:

  • Represent and defend clients in debt collection cases initiated by creditors or debt buyers.

  • Advise clients on debt resolution strategies, including voluntary payment arrangements.
  • Attend hearings if necessary, with the option to secure local coverage counsel.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience.
  • Experience in consumer debt defense and/or collections preferred.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and case management skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in California and in good standing.

Skills:
