Transactional Attorney

We are seeking a skilled Transactional Attorney to join our law office in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. In this full-time position, you will provide legal counsel and representation to clients, utilizing your expertise in various areas of law.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of legal issues.
• Provide expert advice on clients' legal rights and obligations.
• Draft legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and pleadings.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations.
• Stay updated on changes in legislation and case law.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure effective case management.

Requirements:

• Experience in various areas of law, including but not limited to Workers Compensation, Patent, Environmental, Immigration, and Personal Injury Law.
• Strong background in legal drafting and research.
• Familiarity with law office operations and procedures.
• Knowledge of Lexis-Nexis or similar legal research tools.
• Familiarity with Immigration Law is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in the relevant jurisdiction.
