Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and support on federal, state, and local tax matters.
  • Draft and review legal documents including tax opinions, memoranda, and legal briefs.
  • Assist clients with tax planning, compliance, and tax-related disputes.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis regarding various tax issues.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex tax law cases and strategies.
  • Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Participate in business development activities to support firm growth.

Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of experience in tax law.
  • Experience with federal, state, and local tax matters is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Master of Laws (LLM) in Taxation or other relevant advanced degrees are preferred.
  • Admission to the practice of law in Ohio.
