The ideal candidate will have substantial litigation experience, an ability to independently manage cases from inception to resolution, and a strong desire to fight for justice on behalf of clients. Duties:

• Manage personal injury cases from intake to resolution, including settlement or trial.
• Conduct client consultations, maintain ongoing client communication, and provide legal advice.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft and respond to motions.
• Lead mediations and develop case strategies.
• Present court cases, taking them through trial as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with support staff and other attorneys in the firm.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience practicing personal injury or civil litigation.
• Proven experience as a lead attorney in jury trials.
• Must be licensed and in good standing with the Ohio State Bar.
• In-depth knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.
• Demonstrated ability to draft and respond to complex motions.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active and good standing license with the Ohio State Bar.
