Duties:

  • Provide technical expertise and support to attorneys in the preparation of patent filings.
  • Conduct patentability searches and provide analysis of prior art.
  • Collaborate with clients to evaluate and protect intellectual property assets.
  • Work with clients to provide strategic advice regarding freedom-to-operate assessments and intellectual property due diligence.
  • Engage in client counseling related to patent strategy and portfolio management.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, patent law changes, and technological advancements.
  • Participate in intellectual property projects across various technology sectors.

Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of experience in patent prosecution.
  • Strong technical background in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with patent prosecution, including drafting applications and handling office actions.
  • Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Strong academic and professional credentials.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field.

Certifications:

  • Registration to practice with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
