A law firm is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Real Estate Associate Attorney to join their team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of real estate transactional experience, preferably from a large law firm, and will be responsible for a range of duties related to real estate transactions.

 

Job Overview:

  • Handle various aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, joint ventures, and financing.
  • Experience with hotel and resort projects and/or development projects is a significant plus.
  • Provide high-quality legal services with a focus on research, writing, and effective communication.

 

Duties:

  • Assist with real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, joint ventures, and financing.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on real estate issues.
  • Draft and review legal documents related to real estate transactions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to provide pragmatic legal advice.

 

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of real estate transactional experience.
  • Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in the United States.
  • Strong research and writing skills.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellence.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Membership in the Bar in the United States.

 

Skills:

  • Experience with real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, joint ventures, and financing.
  • Knowledge of hotel and resort projects and/or development projects is a plus.
  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
