Duties:

• Handle pre-trial and trial cases related to personal injury defense.
• Manage a caseload and ensure that all legal matters are handled with a high degree of expertise.
• Collaborate with clients to build strong working relationships and maintain effective communication throughout the case process.
• Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and ensure all filings meet deadlines and legal requirements.
• Participate in trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings as needed.
• Work independently while adhering to the firm's standards for excellence in legal practice.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury defense law.
• Proven experience handling pre-trial and trial cases.
• Strong client relations and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize a caseload.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must hold a valid Bar license in New York.

Skills:

• Experience in personal injury law, with a focus on defense.
• Trial and appellate experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with FELA (Federal Employers Liability Act) is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases efficiently.
