Duties:

• Represent clients in Workers' Compensation defense cases.
• Provide legal counsel and develop defense strategies for employers and insurance companies.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Conduct legal research and prepare for hearings and trials.
• Advise clients on legal matters, including case progress and settlement options.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the best possible legal outcomes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Workers' Compensation laws and regulations in California.

Requirements:

• Active membership in the California State Bar.
• 2-10 years of experience in Workers' Compensation defense.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
• Experience with case management and legal research tools.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Valid California Bar License required.
