Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking a skilled Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join its growing Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in employment litigation, including handling single-plaintiff cases involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other areas of California labor and employment law. Duties:

  • Handle all stages of employment litigation, including single-plaintiff actions related to harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination.
  • Participate in trial teams and assist in preparing deposition outlines and trial strategy.
  • Conduct legal research, draft motions, and present oral arguments.
  • Conduct complex fact investigations and legal analysis in labor and employment matters.
  • Take ownership of cases, managing tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Provide sound legal advice on various aspects of California labor and employment law.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of labor and employment litigation experience.
  • Experience in single-plaintiff employment cases, including harassment, discrimination, and retaliation claims.
  • Strong litigation background, including participation in trials and depositions.
  • Ability to handle complex legal research and case preparation with minimal supervision.
  • Admitted to the California Bar.

Education:

  • JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in California.

Skills:

  • Strong litigation and courtroom skills.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy abilities.
  • Ability to handle complex legal matters independently.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Client-focused with the ability to manage client relationships.
