Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a diverse caseload across immigration law, family law, criminal law, and general litigation.
  • Represent clients in legal proceedings, including court appearances, hearings, and trials.
  • Draft and file legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.
  • Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Provide clients with legal advice and guidance throughout their cases, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Negotiate settlements and plea bargains when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies and solutions.
  • Stay informed about legal developments in immigration, family, and criminal law.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Nebraska State Bar and in good standing.
  • Experience in immigration law, family law, criminal law, or general litigation is preferred.
  • Spanish language proficiency is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Nebraska.
