Job Overview

A reputable law firm is seeking a mid to senior-level associate with 3+ years of experience in employment counseling. This position will support global and cross-border employment work, involving frequent collaboration with various office locations. The ideal candidate will assist with employment aspects of corporate transactions, employee terminations, restrictive covenants, and employee mobility. Strong international counseling experience is preferred. The role also involves providing legal guidance to emerging companies across various employment law issues. Duties

• Conduct employment diligence and provide advice on employment aspects of corporate transactions.
• Draft and negotiate employment, retention, and related agreements.
• Advise on reductions in force, employee terminations, and workforce restructuring.
• Draft restrictive covenants and provide counsel on employee mobility issues.
• Advise emerging companies on a wide range of employment law matters.
• Collaborate with colleagues in different offices to support a global employment practice.

Requirements

• 3+ years of employment counseling experience (domestic and/or international).
• Experience with a direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm is preferred.
• Strong international counseling experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams across multiple offices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from a nationally recognized law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction where applying.
