Intellectual Property Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks an IP Litigation Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience to support its growing patent litigation practice in Houston. This position is ideal for candidates with a background in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, who are self-motivated, confident, and able to work well in a team environment.

Duties

• Support patent litigation cases and manage case files
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to patent law
• Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings and motions
• Collaborate with team members on case strategy and execution
• Communicate effectively with clients and other stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (preferred)
• Minimum of 4-6 years of patent litigation experience
• Strong professional and academic credentials
• Must be admitted to practice in Texas
• Self-motivated and confident team player

Education

• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Admission to the Texas Bar
