Duties

• Manage a full civil litigation caseload from inception through resolution or trial

• Design and implement litigation strategies tailored to individual client needs

• Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations

• Maintain regular communication with clients, offering clear guidance and updates

• Collaborate with support staff and legal team for efficient case progression

• Focus on legal work without responsibility for marketing, blogging, or administrative tasks

• Uphold high standards of legal ethics and client advocacy

Requirements

• Experience in civil litigation

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow firm procedures

• Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

• DC and/or Maryland Bar admission is a plus (not required)

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active and in-good-standing license to practice law in Virginia

• Admission to additional jurisdictions (DC or MD) is a plus
