A law firm in Oklahoma City, OK, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 5+ years of experience. The ideal candidate should possess strong writing and analytical skills, excellent academic credentials, and a desire to appear in court. A license to practice in Oklahoma is required.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various litigation matters.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Prepare for and participate in court appearances, hearings, and trials.
  • Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior associates on case strategy and tactics.
  • Attend depositions, mediation sessions, and settlement conferences.
  • Assist in the preparation of discovery requests and responses.
  • Handle case management tasks, including organizing files and documents.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Oklahoma State Bar and in good standing.
  • 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
  • Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and rules.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in legal research and writing.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Oklahoma State Bar and in good standing.
