Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a dedicated and motivated Litigation Associate to join its insurance defense, construction, and professional liability practice in Coral Gables, FL. This position is ideal for attorneys with at least one year of civil defense litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense or construction law. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, where they will receive excellent mentorship and support.

Duties

• Attend court appearances and conduct depositions regularly.
• Draft legal pleadings and prepare discovery documents to support litigation.
• Conduct thorough legal research to inform case strategies.
• Collaborate with team members to develop effective defense strategies.
• Communicate effectively with clients and other stakeholders throughout the litigation process.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• An active Florida Bar license is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of civil defense litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense or construction.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• Active admission to the Florida Bar.
