Senior Employment Litigation Attorney

Duties:

• Manage a diverse caseload involving employment law, securities/FINRA, and professional liability defense
• Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials
• Participate in court proceedings, including depositions, mediations, and hearings
• Provide strategic advice to clients on employment-related matters and other legal issues
• Conduct thorough legal research and develop case strategies for each unique matter
• Accurately record billable hours and ensure compliance with client and firm billing policies
• Maintain strong communication with clients, providing updates and counsel as necessary

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in securities/FINRA law, with exposure to professional liability defense and employment law preferred
• Extensive experience with civil litigation and federal/state employment law
• Proven ability to manage a large volume of cases simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar is required
